We are Cub Scout Pack 429 in Horizon West, Florida. We meet most Wednesday evenings at Atwater Bay Elementary School, and primarily recruit from Atwater Bay, Water Spring, and Panther Lake Elementary Schools — but all are welcome to join. Scout On!

PLACEHOLDER: National + council registration fees plus pack dues. We keep costs low and scholarships are available — just ask.
How much time does it take?
PLACEHOLDER: Typically a couple of den meetings a month plus a monthly pack event and optional outings.
Do we need a uniform?
New scouts get started with a cap and handbook; the class-A uniform shirt can be added over time. We can help you find gear at the Scout Shop.
Do parents stay?
Yes — Cub Scouts is a family program. A parent or guardian participates alongside younger scouts, and families are always welcome.
My child is older — can they still join?
Absolutely. Kids can join at any grade K–5 and jump right into their den.
Do you have to be a certain religion or gender?
Cub Scouting is open to all boys and girls in grades K–5.
